Golf: Sotogrande has been a world class destination for golf since Sir Robert Trent Jones designed the “Real Club de Golf Sotogrande” in 1964. There are now 5 courses including the world famous “Real Club de Valderrama” home of the 1997 Ryder Cup and “La Reserva Golf Club”, home of 2014 European Tour.
Tennis and Paddle: There are numerous tennis and paddle courts in the resort.
Polo: Sotogrande is now a world class destination for Polo. The Santa Maria and Ayala Polo Clubs have over 11 grounds and cater for Polo for all ages and handicaps. Indeed, the Gold Cup in August is considered to be one of best tournaments in the world of 22+ goal Polo.
Horse Riding: There are various riding centers in and bordering the resort. Riding in the surrounding countryside is a truly spectacular experience for those who love riding!
Beaches: There are two beach clubs. However, for true beach lovers a visit to the beaches near Tarifa, on the Atlantic coast, is a must! (35 minute drive from Sotogrande.)
