Tucked away in the lush greenery of Sotogrande, the Royal Golf Club is an exclusive spot for its members. While access is restricted, it’s known for its excellent cuisine and service, providing a perfect dining experience after a round of golf. The dress code when dining at the Royal Golf Club is strict and well followed.

Trocadero stands out with its stunning setting and exquisite cocktails. It’s a paradise where the sun meets the sea, ideal for a relaxing lunch by the pool or a delightful cocktail under the winter sun. While it’s bustling in peak season, the off-season offers a more serene experience. The burrata with pistachio cream starter and the ‘cacao’ dessert are my absolute favourite, while my father Ben, particularly enjoys the steak.

It’s a place where steak lovers can indulge in some of the best meats around, and one of the original restaurants in Sotogrande, founded and run by long term Belgian resident: Albert. The restaurant has become iconic in the Sotogrande scene, known and loved by all its residents and visitors, so for those seeking a true local experience – El Gaucho is not to miss. • Petit Bistro: Known for its excellent brunches and amazing cakes, Petit Bistro is a local favorite. It’s a charming spot for a morning coffee or a leisurely brunch.
• Health is Food and Fitness Coffee Shop: Catering to the health-conscious, this venue combines nutritious offerings with a fitness-focused ethos. It’s a great place to enjoy a guilt-free meal or snack.
